Airport Security
It differs so much across cities, even different airports in cities! Sometimes they won’t even notice that your bag of 100ml liquids isn’t out of your bag. Charles De Gaulle is pretty lax, but Orly in the south of Paris was super strict. They threw out my face wash and $$$ hair pomade since they didn’t even have their liquid sizes. They had weight, which means they shouldn’t count for the liquid restriction! I was so pissed/upset since I’ve never had trouble with them at other airports. I have a feeling that it had to do with it being 5am and the start of these people’s shifts.
Coming back from Berlin, I didn’t even have to take off my boots to go through security.
