Spring Registration
This has been confusing to do since I don’t have all the notes I’ve made over my school career to look at. Luckily I brought the sheet that my advisor wrote my suggested classes for the Spring on. If I get every class I want at the time I want it, I will only have classes Tuesdays & Thursdays. It will be 5 classes for 17 credits. As for the class content and work load, it shouldn’t kill me too much. I’ll have one writing-intensive French literature class, an introductory entrepreneurship class, managerial accounting, human resources, and an international business class that will be a cinch after being here. Tuesdays I’ll have class from 8:15 to 12:30, then from 1:45 to 3:25. Thursdays will be the same with an additional class from 5:45 to 8:15. The best part of this schedule will be the weekends because I’ll be able to devote the week to schoolwork. I doubt I’ll be working 12 hours a day at work!
12 hours on campus seems like a little much but I think it will be worth it. It will allow me to have a really flexible work schedule wherever I end up and make it easier to find a job and place to live. I can either live in Uptown & work in Uptown or on campus, or live at home and work near home or near campus. I’m hoping to move out, though. I love home but need to be where my friends are!
